Peachpit giving away Macworld Expo SF passes Peachpit is giving away free passes to the expo for Macworld San Francisco, which will take place from January 11-14. To request a pair of passes (exhibit-only passes, a combined $80 value), send an email message to macworld@peachpit.com with your name and postal address. A company representative writes "The passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and we must receive requests by January 3."
Apple files complaint over iTunes domain name Apple has taken steps to take ownership of the iTunes.co.uk domain name from its current owner, with the company formally complaining to Nominet, the UK domain name registrar, that it is entitled to the domain. ZDNN reports "Apple has been attempting to claim the domain from its current owner, Benjamin Cohen, since November, when its solicitors began sending Cohen letters requesting that he turn over the domain to them. The site currently forwards to a music search engine at Cohen's CyberBritain site." More.
