Moscone center evacuated The Moscone Center, home to the San Francisco Macworld Expo, was evacuated Wednesday afternoon, sending thousands of attendees onto nearby streets and sidewalks. eWeek reports "Officials wouldn't confirm the reason for the evacuation, but one of the guards handling security at Moscone Center said the cause was a bomb threat. A security manager would not confirm the reason for the evacuation but said the situation was 'very serious.'" More.
