Once you go Mac, you never go back The Post Online profiles a student's switch to the Mac "Antolin Rodriguez is a self-proclaimed Apple addict. He, like many other students at Ohio University, has made the transition from PC to Apple and swears undying allegiance to the underdog Apple. Rodriguez, a sophomore retail merchandising and business major at OU, first experienced a Macintosh computer in high school through his friend?s Apple iMac. Rodriguez said he really liked what he saw and subsequently spent lots of time in his high school?s Macintosh computer lounge. Rodriguez' passion for Apple computers grew throughout the next few years. For graduation, Rodriguez asked for and received an iBook G4 and an iPod. Years later with the same iBook and a couple generations of iPods under his belt, Rodriguez said he?ll never go back to a PC with Microsoft Windows." More.

Apple 'Needs to Get Its Game On' A BusinessWeek column urges Apple to invest some time and money in game development. "Gaming is the one area of computing where the Mac has seriously lagged in the area of software. While a few major titles have been ported over the years, Mac gamers are treated like a market afterthought. Major releases on the Mac are usually a year or so behind those on Windows. Most of the feelings I have about this situation can't be put into polite language. [...] An Apple game might help prime the pump. One great game would get Mac users looking for more great games, and thus help demand, which would encourage more games. In time, one of the weakest planks in the pro-Mac sales proposition would start to look stronger. And I would have more ways to waste time." More.
