Firefox passes 10 percent usage share BetaNews reports that browser market share statistics from Web analytics firm OneStat.com indicate that usage of Mozilla Firefox has surpassed the 10 percent milestone, reaching 11.51 percent globally in its most recent survey released Wednesday. "However, the data somewhat conflicts with previous information that indicated usage numbers of the alternative browser might have been inflated due to Netscape reporting itself as Firefox. Apple Could Ship More Than 37 Million iPods In 2005 Forbes reports that Piper Jaffray Senior Analyst Gene Munster maintained an "outperform" rating and $60 price target on Apple Computer as sales increase and lead time decreases for the iPod nano. "We expect the iPod to continue to be a foundation for growth in other parts of Apple's business, and we expect that by the end of calendar 2005 more than 37 million iPods will have shipped, providing Apple with a greater scope of awareness for various products ('halo' effect)," said Munster.
