Bill Gates is "excited" about road ahead Addressing a group of financial analysts and media at the Microsoft campus here, Gates said he is excited about and focused on six big things going forward. "Management capability; integrated storage; our new Windows File System [WinFS], which will draw on the file system and database expertise including rich search; a workflow that allows business processes to be drawn up in an easy way; business intelligence that builds in the XML platform; model-based programming; and speech-language and the natural-based interface are all things I'm excited about," he said. Review of 23" Samsung Flat panel PC Magazine writes "If the future of computer monitors is large screens and high resolution, then LCD technology is sure to be a major player. To match the new 21.3-inch Samsung SyncMaster 213T ($1,300 street), a CRT would have to be about 23 inches across the diagonal, making it bulky, heavy, and awkward. By contrast, the 213T has a thin bezel-less than 0.75 inches wide-and a slim and stylish stand. And at $1,300, it's one-third the price that the 21-inch Samsung SyncMaster 210T was just two years ago."
