Behold: The Pyramac Wired News reports on the PyraMac, a unique case modification -- a hand-made, translucent, pyramid-shaped Mac that glows vividly under ultraviolet light. "While there are case mods galore, Salas' pyramid design is probably the only one inspired by one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramid of Giza near Cairo, Egypt." LCDs gain ground against CRT monitors, study finds LCD sales increased 8 percent from the fourth quarter of 2002 to the first quarter this year, research company DisplaySearch said. Shipments of 10.6 million units gave LCDs a 37 percent share of the display market, up from 30 percent the previous quarter. The move to LCDs meant a decline for CRT monitor sales. CRT shipments fell 21 percent from the fourth quarter of 2002 to the first quarter of 2003, and 16 percent from a year ago. More.

"The software maker and some of its competitors that provide Internet service and Web-based e-mail are outdoing one another with highly publicized antispam campaigns.
