Beatles Lose Suit Against Apple Computers The Associated Press reports that Apple Computer Inc. is entitled to use the apple logo on its iTunes Music Store, a judge ruled Monday, rejecting a suit filed by Apple Corps Ltd., the guardian of The Beatles' commercial interests. "Apple Corps, which contended that the U.S. company had broken a 1991 agreement in which each side agreed not to enter into the other's field of business, said it would appeal. Judge Edward Mann ruled that Apple Computer used the fruit logo in association with the store, not the music, and thus did not breach the agreement." More.
Colorful MacBook Pros As reported by MobileWhack, a company called Colorware is offering 24 different color shades for customized MacBook Pros that fetch a $600 premium over their standards counterparts. MobileWhack writes "So if you're the flamboyant kind go for the Red but if understatement is your style then definitely opt for the Black. As far as the configurations go they are similar to the usual (dare I say boring) MacBook Pro." More.
