Formac offers new DVR device Formac has introduced its latest digital video recorder (DVR) device, dubbed the Studio TVR. The new unit uses a TV-Tuner from Philips, features improved reception, performance, and TV quality for 125 channels. With the introduction of the Studio TVR, Formac also introduces a new release of its TVR software, featuring a redesigned human interface and adding a wide variety of features like pausing of live TV. The new device is expected to ship this month at a price of US$ 399. More.
