AirPort Express ships Apple has begun shipping AirPort Express, the 802.11g mobile base station that allows wireless Internet connections and USB printing as well as analog and digital audio outputs that can be connected to a home stereo, and together with AirTunes music networking software gives users a way to wirelessly stream music from iTunes on their Mac to a stereo. Apple says it has received more than 80,000 pre-orders for AirPort Express, which was introduced last month. More.

Apple Remote Desktop 2 training webcast The MacOSXLabs.org group will be presenting an "Apple Remote Desktop 2" webcast on Tuesday, July 20 at 1:00 pm EDT. Nader Nafissi, Apple's Product Manager of Server and Storage Software will be presenting Apple Remote Desktop 2.0 - the desktop management solution for networked Mac OS X computers. Jason Prell, a Systems Programmer at the University of Iowa, will cover how he uses Apple Remote Desktop 2 as a component of his deployment and management practices. More.
