New and Noteworthy: 2005 predictions for Apple
2005 predictions for Apple Writing for the Houston Chronicle, Bob LeVitus makes some predictions for Apple's 2005 product roadmap. Among them: "The lowest-priced Mac desktop model available today is the eMac for $799. With its G4 processor, 17-inch display, and awesome bundled software, it's a bargain. But there are Windows PCs with similar specs that look like a better deal to the uninitiated, especially with prices as low as $499. This is my longest shot, but I predict Apple will introduce a full-featured Mac model in 2005 that costs under $600." More.
