IBM ViaVoice X  3.0is out. It is a Mac OS X version of this speech recognition software.

OpenOSX Office 0.9 is an Office suite alternative. It includes AbiWord (word processor), Gnumeric (spreadsheet) and Gimp (graphics editor).

HancomOffice 2.0 is a multiplatform Office suite that will run in Linux, Windows and Mac OS X. It is now in a "final beta" version. (Thanks. Christopher Smith.)

Mathematica coming Doug Hiser writes: "I heard from Wolfram Research that the final version of Mathematica for Mac OS X will be out at the end of this month. This resolves some known incompatibilities of the preview release with Mac OS X 10.1."
