StarOffice for Mac OS X coming by this summer Sun Microsystems told Tim Michael that the engineering effort to port StarOffice to the Mac OS X is now underway! The delivery date is said to be, at the latest, Summer 2001. This FAQ will be updated when more information is available.

LaCie on Mac OS X drivers Chris Peters asked LaCie about the status of their drivers for OS X. Here is their reply: "Unfortunately, we don't have an ETA at this point, but Toast 5 does support OS X already, so if OS X can detect the drive, you are half way there. Unfortunately with the current state of OS X, no one can burn CDs right now. There will be an update to OS X very soon that will allow you to use a CD burner again."
