Reel-Eyes released iREZ has released Reel-Eyes software, a video-editing application for only $34.95. It can transfer high-quality, 30 frames-per-second analog video to and from computer RAM or disk memory.

Momentum division Just in case you hadn't heard: Momentum has been split into two divisions: usbConnect (for USB products) and Q Shack (for serial products).

Vicomsoft DHCP Servers Vicomsoft has announced the availability of version 6.5 of their DHCP Servers. "This enhanced DHCP server now offers remote administration as an option, allowing administrators to manage the server from anywhere on the LAN or remotely over the Internet."

In this regard: Users interested in getting a new iMac DV from almost any place other than the Apple Store are discovering that the cost of getting a DV with a 64MB memory upgrade is more than just getting the DV Special Edition (which already comes with the extra RAM plus a larger hard drive).

New PowerBook rumors make sense Think about it. Even though the current PowerBook G3 series is only about 6 months old, it already seems out of date. It is the only currently shipping Mac that does not include an AirPort card option. And, unlike its "Pro" desktop sibling, it does not come with a G4 processor or onboard FireWire support. Maybe that's why current speculation is that a major overhaul of the PowerBook is due for January's Macworld Expo.
