Integrating Mac OS X with Active Directory Apple has released a new document entitled "Integrating Mac OS X with Active Directory. This document describes how you can use the information stored in Microsoft's Active Directory to authenticate Macintosh users and provide file services and home directories for them on Mac OS X Server. It is available for immediate download from the Mac OS X Server web site."

Quicken 2002 Deluxe R3 11.0.2 fixes numerous problems with the previous version, including ones we have mentioned here before. For example, it fixes the bug where QuickMath appears in the upper left hand corner of the screen. The Lots button is now in the Investment Actions window. Downloading when no new transactions are available, no longer results in a freeze when hiding Quicken. CarbonLib problems have been fixed; more.

Have iPod, Will Secretly Bootleg A wired.com article describes an incident where a CompUSA customer was discovered using his iPod to download a copy of Microsoft Office from a Mac on display in the store.

PHP remote vulnerabilities This page notes "We found several flaws in the way PHP handles multipart/form-data POST requests. Each of the flaws could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the victim's system." Mac OS X's Unix base can use PHP.
