One-man Mac movement Wired News profiles, Devan Simunovich, who is described as a one-man Macintosh retro revival movement. "The 24-year-old San Francisco designer is an avid collector of old, all-in-one Macs. He has about 50 Mac Classics, Mac SEs and SE/30s. But he's not keeping his passion to himself. He often lugs carloads of his machines to raves and other events, setting up vintage gaming lounges or video walls made from compact Macs stacked atop each other." More.

NEC offers wireless projectors ZDNN reports that NEC is debuting its LT200 Series of projectors, which can communicate using 802.11b wireless networking, allowing users to send images without a physical connection. "The three models, which differ in levels of brightness, will go on sale in early October. Prices for the entry-level projector, the LT260, will start at around $2,400, the company said." More.

Report from IBC Reuters reports from the International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam, stating that his years show "brought few breakthroughs or major partnerships, because this year key players are trying to do less rather than more. Microsoft which last year boasted its first customer for its interactive TV middleware software in Portugal's TVCabo, went on the record saying that it was no longer trying to sell products with all the bells and whistles, because clients could no longer afford expensive set top boxes.
