MacHack 2003 announced The MacHack planning committee has announced the dates for MacHack 18. As always, the conference will take place in its traditional home of the Holiday Inn Fairlane in Michigan. In 2003, events begin at 12:01 AM on June 19 and run continuously until the wee hours after the closing banquet on June 21. Conference registration costs $425. More.

Akami, Apple partner further Akamai Technologies, Inc. today announced the adoption of its global platform and content distribution services in support of Apple's hugely popular QuickTime Movie Trailers site. Extending its use of Akamai's services, Apple has added EdgeSuite to efficiently enable global distribution of its high-demand movie trailers. More.

XtremeMac expands offerings XtremeMac has announced several new iPod accessories that include the iWallet, the iShare Earbud Splitter, Xwire Gold Audio cables and an iPod Cassette Adapter.
