Iomega settles suit Iomega is settling its lawsuit regarding Zip drives and the infamous "Click of Death." In a PDF document outlining the settlement, sent to at least some Zip drive owners, Iomega: "denies any liability or wrongdoing which is alleged in the Complaint, but has decided to enter into this settlement in order avoid the costs and burdens associated with continuing the litigation." Compensation ranges from $10 to $40 towards the purchase of a new drive and/or Zip disks. (Thanks, Jeff Hanson.)
