AppleInsider MIA? Many readers have noted that, when trying to get to AppleInsider, you get a message that says: "The specified server could not be found." We saw no mention on MacNN that the page has been discontinued.

Update: Several readers noted that AppleInsider is gone because its domain registration expired as of August 16. Whether this is intentional (and thus means AI is gone for good) or an oversight (that will soon be corrected) is still unclear. The site is still accessible via its numeric IP address. The last update is dated June 21 and it states it resume publication "soon."
