Netscape and Java-related crashes: a confirmation from Netscape?

Jim Muha received an email from Netscape Technical Support confirming that crashes when loading "Java intense" pages are very likely with Navigator/Communicator, especially on 68K Macs. For PowerPC Macs, emptying the Netscape cache should help prevent the crashes.

Update: Kurt Kroeger reports that he eradicated most of his Java-related crashes by following the often recommended tip of moving his Netscape cache files to a RAM disk.
