Netflix has tuned up its iOS app with a couple of benefits for those of you running iOS 7.

Released Thursday, Netflix version 5.0 for iOS lets iOS 7 users watch HD videos in all their 1080p glory, a feature that Android users have already been enjoying . The new version also supports AirPlay streaming, so iOS 7 users can directly pipe their favorite Netflix videos from their mobile devices to their Apple TVs without the need for AirPlay mirroring.

Netfix's iOS app is compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. The app requires iOS 6.0 or later, however, the HD video play and AirPlay streaming work only in iOS 7.
