We have gotten several reports of problems with the recently released NetBarrier 2.0. For example:
Brad Messer found that NetBarrier 2.0 blocked his access to password-protected web pages; this did not happen in NetBarrier 1.5.
Michael Kliehm writes: "After upgrading to NetBarrier 2.0, I started having tons of problems connecting with< various client computers to web sites. For example, many pages would only load halfway. Slowdowns and other errors also occurred. After downgrading back to version 1.6, all of the slowdowns, incomplete pages and errors vanished.
A reader found that, while NetBarrier 1.6 ran "flawlessly" in Mac OS 9.1, NetBarrier 2.0 would "lock up" his Mac when launching NetUpdate.
