National Semi recruits sailor
National Semiconductor has appointed former Secretary of the Navy Richard J. Danzig to its board of directors, the Santa Clara, Calif.-based chipmaker said Wednesday. Danzig, who held the top Navy post in the Clinton administration, had previously served on National Semi's board from 1987 to 1993. Danzig has also taught at the Georgetown Law School and served as litigation director and vice chairman of the International Human Rights Group.
