Now that "American Idol" is over, voting fanatics can turn their prowess to a naming contest for the Rocket Racing League's first plane, which will take flight this fall in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The RRL is a new spectator sport akin to Nascar, but for high-tech rockets. The top 10 candidates for names, which were chosen among 2,000 entries at AOL, seem to be plucked from a little boy's game of chief and Indian or the movie "Top Gun." They include American Spirit, Desert Thunder, Dragon Fire, Full Throttle, Sky Warrior and Thunder Hawk. People can vote for the best at AOL's site until June 5. The winner, whose prizes will include a one-year VIP pass to the games and a signature across the rocket, will be named at the X Prize Cup, a related space flight challenge on Oct. 20.
