Patch coming Following up on our previous report of a potential Myst III patch for the Mac, Mark Tuleweit received the following reply from UbiSoft:

"There is a patch being made for the Mac, we have not forgotten about you. The tentative timeframe for the release of the patch was the end of May. They are in the process of testing the patch, so it should be released in the near future. The patch is geared towards the most popular Mac bugs, but we are not sure of the exact errors that the patch will resolve, but one definite error that the patch should remedy is the popular double cursor bug."

Update: David Gatt notes: ""My monitor, a 17 inch Apple, is usually set to 800 x 600. But If I change the resolution to 640 x 480 before I launch the game, I don't get the double curser problem."

OpenType fonts and TTConverter Regarding our previous report on an error related to OpenType fonts installed by Myst III Exile, Bill Bowman replies: "I too had this error. I downloaded a piece of shareware called TTConvertor. It converts Windows TrueType to Mac TrueType fonts. After converting the mentioned fonts, the errors went away and Exile ran fine."
