Owners of a Sony internet-connected TV can now enjoy the subscription-based Mubi movie streaming service in addition to the current selection of catch-up TV and programming.

A monthly subscription to Mubi, which consists mainly of classic and independent movies, costs AU$9.95 per month or, alternatively, you can pay AU$3.95 per film. If you have access to a Mubi account via either a PlayStation 3 or the website, the same account can be linked up to your Sony TV.

Those of us with an internet-enabled Sony Bravia, but without a Mubi account can trial the service free for a month.
