Motorola pull the wraps off of its mystery smartphone Facebook tease-fest today and it's...the Atrix HD, not exactly what many wished for. Android fans, me included, yearned for the fabled Razr HD, which is rumored to feature the superduper 3,300mAH battery of the Droid Razr Maxx in a trim chassis, plus a 13-megapixel camera.

Now that would be a whole lot of phone, especially if the Razr HD comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to complement its Verizon 4G LTE data connection. Sadly we'll have to sit tight and hope official word of Moto's next Razr-class device will break soon.

Now to be fair, the company may have teased its Facebook fans all week with cryptic statements and clues but did acknowledge after day one that the shrouded phone wasn't an unreleased product. Still, I'm sure many others hate being toyed with, particularly when there's no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
