A new version of Mortal Kombat X is on the way, featuring the base game and all its DLC -- Mortal Kombat XL Edition. The developer of the fighting game, NetherRealm, shared a trailer for it today.

The video, embedded below, shows off some brutal gameplay and confirms that the bundle comes with "all additional characters and skin packs."

Mortal Kombat XL Edition is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One digitally and at retailers on March 1. A release for PC has not been mentioned.

"All additional characters and skin packs" apparently refers to content from Mortal Kombat X's Kombat Pack 1 and the upcoming Kombat Pack 2. The first pack included Jason Voorhees, Predator, Tanya and Tremor, while the second comes with Leatherface (from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre"), Xenomorph ("Alien"), Bo Rai Cho (drunken fist master) and Tri-Borg (combination of Cyrax, Sektor and Robot Smoke).

In addition to all characters from Kombat Pack 1 and Kombat Pack 2 (and Goro), it comes with the Apocalypse Skin Pack, as well as the Brazil Skin Pack, Kold War Skin Pack, Kold War Scorpion Skin, and Samurai Skin Pack.

Mortal Kombat X launched in April 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC and has reportedly sold more than 5 million copies. The game's Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions were canceled.
