More observations on changes in Mac OS 9.2

CNET staff
Information on the changes in Mac OS 9.2 continues to trickle in. (See our previous coverage one and two.) Robert Gasiorowski sent us several observations on installing Mac OS 9.2 on Dual G4. He writes:

"The power button light is now off when computer is on (when sleeping, the light blinks differently than it did before).

Finally, the FireWire target disk mode works correctly! No more freezes when copying multiple files from my G4 to my G3 FW PowerBook in FTD mode.

On some older G4's, the eject button does not open CD tray when it is empty, however, after copying and running (once) the 'Eject' application extra from 9.2 CD, the eject button works properly."
