More Entourage Palm Conduit Issues

Several readers note significant limitations and poor handling of both contact and calendar information in the newly released Entourage Palm synchronization tool.

Old items resurrected Daniel Sabath writes:

"With the new Entourage X Palm conduit, when one modifies a past item in the calendar, or worse, a repeating event (which will include past items), the changed item appears in today's calendar on the Palm after syncing. The next time a HotSync is performed, these items move from their original location in the calendar to today. Changing future items or creating repeating events that only occur in the future does not cause this problem."

DualDate incompatible? Justin Joffrion reports that changes made to events in Entourage are not reflected in DualDate, a calendar program produced by Palm that runs off the same database as their DateBook application. Joffrion says he doesn't experience the problem when an event is created on the Palm.
