Occasionally people may find that their MobileMe calendar syncing will work on one of their devices but not another, even with all settings being the same. When a new user is created on the Mac that is exhibiting the issue, the iCal syncing works, but most users need a fix for their current user.

Apple Support Discussions user "maviso5" writes:

"The problem is as follows:
Mobileme to MacBook and vice versa = all works fine.
MobileMe to Mac Pro and vice versa = doesn't work.
Last night I contacted support and the rep told me to do all the usual stuff including this:
/System/Library/Frameworks/SyncServices.framework/Versions/A/Resources/resetsync.pl full
That didn't work either. What did work is creating a new user on my Pro called test and everything synced fine. However, I don't want to set a new user up just because of this."
Possible fixes
Some of the other "usual stuff" as "maviso5" mentions is:
1. Reset your Sync Data:
1. Open System Preferences > MobileMe > Sync > Advanced...
2. Click Reset Sync Data...
3. You may choose to replace all your sync info, or select info individually.
4. You may also choose to replace the info on your computer with what is on MobileMe, or replace what is on MobileMe with what is on your computer. Click the arrow that describes what you would like to replace.
5. Click replace.
2. Toggle your MobileMe user name and password:
1. Open System Preferences > MobileMe > Account
2. If you are already signed in, click Sign Out...
3. Sign back in to MobileMe using a false user name and password and accept the rejection.
4. Sign in again with your correct MobileMe user name and password.
5. Click Sync in the MobileMe preference pane.
6. Click Sync Now.
3. ASD user "maviso5" found their own fix:
1. Navigate to the username > Library > Calendars folder
2. Trash the entire folder. Note: You may want to simply drag the folder to the Desktop in case you need to restore it later. If the fix works, you may trash the folder.
3. Open iCal and MobileMe should push your cloud data into iCal.

Update: I had the same issues with iCal not syncing properly last night after writing this article. I found that trashing the entire Calendars folder may not be necessary. I simply trashed the calendar cache files and reopened iCal. iCal updated my calendars and is now syncing to MobileMe swimmingly.
