MidiSport drivers fix problems working with new Macs

CNET staff
MidiSport 1x1, 2x2, 4x4 and 8x8 are MIDI interfaces for USB-equipped Macs. This Web page notes that "There were some minor changes made to all Macintosh computers which shipped after 7/17 which caused a problem with all of the Mac MidiSport drivers. These include the Dual G4 machines, Cubes, and the newest iMacs (Indigo, Ruby, Graphite, Snow and Sage). After working with Apple, we’ve tracked down the problem and fixed it in the latest version of our drivers." You can download the drivers from this page. Note: Although the Web page lists 1.1.0 as the driver version, the download actually gives you version 1.1.2. John Weiglein found that 1.1.2 fixed startup freezes he was having with the previous version.
