Microtech Mii Zip 100 drive incompatible with new PowerBooks

A reader bought a Microtech Mii Zip 100 drive for use with his PowerBook G3. He writes: "Unfortunately the drive causes a system freeze whenever a Zip disk is inserted.

Microtech Tech Support replied: "Our Mii Zip 100 USB drive has had reported problems with the new PowerBook G3's. We are currently working with Apple to resolve this problem, however we do not know when or if we will have a fix for this problem."
