Microsoft has released a couple of security updates for Mac users running either Office 2004 or Office 2008. Both updates address vulnerabilities that can be exploited where an attacker can overwrite contents of your computer's memory with malicious code.
In addition, the update for Office 2008 readies the installation for Entourage 2008 Web Services Edition, and must be installed before you install the Web Services Edition.
Microsoft has also released an update for their Open XML Converter, which is used for reading documents created with the new Office formats in versions older than Office 2008.
