Microsoft accidentally posts upcoming Lumia 950, 950 XL specs online
Specs for Microsoft's anticipated pair of flagship handsets, the Lumia 950 and 950 XL, were accidentally posted online by the company itself.
A week before Microsoft is scheduled to hold a Windows 10 hardware event that will take place in New York, the company has reportedly posted photos and specs of its anticipated flagships phones, the Lumia 950 and 950XL, on its online store.
According to The Verge, the handsets will be available unlocked and sport 20-megapixel rear facing cameras, 32GB of internal storage and expandable storage up to 2TB. The 950 and 950 XL will also have a 5.2-inch and 5.7-inch display, respectively.
The 950 is expected to be the successor of last year's high-end Lumia 930 , while the 950 XL will serve as its larger variant. The Redmond, Washington-based company develops the third most popular mobile operating system, Windows Phone, after Google Android and Apple iOS.
Though information about these premium phones is limited, more will be (officially) revealed during Microsoft's October 6 presser, where the company is expected to unveil new Surface tablets and wearables as well.
