Memory Bug Patch Remover posted for Mac OS 8.6 upgrade

CNET staff
Regarding the Memory Bug Patch (covered here recently as a potential fix for a memory leak as well as for certain system crashes), the author of the patch has now posted a Memory Bug Patch Remover. Here's why:
"You may not be able to upgrade to Mac OS 8.6 with the Memory Bug Patch installed. Before upgrading to Mac OS 8.6 you have to replace your patched System file with the original, unmodified one. In case you no longer have the original file around, the Bug Patch Remover will remove the Patch from the System file. Please notice that this is to be used only as a last resort, as it may add to System corruption. It is preferable to make a clean install of Mac OS 8.5 before upgrading to 8.6."
