The Meatball Baker Fresh Finds

I love eating meatballs, but making them is a different story. It seems like every time I even think about making them, I start thinking about the mess I'm going to make. The Meatball Baker lets me cut out a lot of the mess--and a good chunk of the work, too. The nonstick pan lets you place meatballs on a special rack that cleans up fast. It's also ideal for making sausages, veggies, stuffed mushrooms or even kebabs. While the pan should be washed by hand, it's still a simple process for clean up. The rack in the Meatball Baker has three rows, which lets you cook about 15 good-size meatballs in a batch.

The Meatball Baker also makes meatballs a little healthier: of course, baking them is better for you than frying them. But because the meatballs sit on a rack in the baker, fat can easily drip off of them into the pan below, giving you a leaner meal. Most other baking methods leave meatballs sitting in that grease. The process even does a better job of cooking the meatballs all the way around--you don't wind up with one flat side or an unevenly cooked meatball. The Meatball Baker is priced at $24.95.
