Marvel's 'Jessica Jones' tormented in new Netflix trailer
Detective Jessica Jones' troubled past as a superhero catches up with her when nemesis Kilgrave returns with a vengeance.

So begins the first full-length official trailer for the new Marvel superhero series "Jessica Jones," which debuts on Netflix on November 20.
In a new trailer, released Friday, we see Jones ( Krysten Ritter) trying to lead a normal life as a private detective in New York City's Hell's Kitchen. Unfortunately, her complicated past as a fallen superhero seems to have caught up with her.
Jones drinks heavily and fights hard. Just when she seems to be making friends and even having a chance at a love life (we're looking at you, Luke Cage), her nemesis Kilgrave, played by David Tennant, returns to New York in search of Jones.
In the comics, Kilgrave is known as Purple Man. He used mind control to manipulate Jones when she was still a costumed superhero. The Netflix trailer depicts Kilgrave using a deadly form of Jedi mind tricks that result in cops pointing guns at their own heads or each other.
With the threat of Kilgrave looming over her, thankfully Jones doesn't look like a quitter. In the trailer, we see her display some of her many superpowers, like jumping tall buildings, punching through walls and stopping a moving car with her bare hands.
Jones isn't alone in her fight against Kilgrave. Her love interest Luke Cage ( Mike Colter), her best friend Trish Walker ( Rachael Taylor) and her no-nonsense ally Harper ( Carrie-Anne Moss) will have her back.
Even though Cage says in the trailer, "Being a hero just puts a target on your back;" we can't wait to see Jones fight for justice.
