Maple V launch problem: the solution

CNET staff
Previously, we noted a problem launching Maple V after Mathematica 4 had been installed. As it turns out, MapleSoft has posted a work-around for this problem (thanks, Walter Schreiner):
Maple V Release 5 installs the Mesa libraries in the folder called Mesa Beta Folder inside the Extensions folder. If you have another version of Mesa libraries installed on your system, a conflict will occur. To resolve this problem, move the contents of the Mesa folder to the Maple V Release 5 folder (it's not enough to move the entire Mesa folder). Next time Maple V starts, it will give priority to the Mesa library files in its startup folder.
