Mandrake upgrades PowerPC Linux

French Linux seller MandrakeSoft has announced version 8 of its software for PowerPC-based computers, the company plans to announce Monday at the LinuxWorld Conference and Expo in San Francisco. The product costs $10 from the company's Web site, not including shipping. MandrakeSoft braved the initial public offering waters in July and now is publicly traded on an unregulated French market.
