A few more notes on our discoveries wandering the floor of the Expo (see previous item):

Suitcase As we have long been familiar with Extensis Suitcase for OS 9, we did not expect much surprise in our first look at the OS X version. But we were surprised. It has a fully redesigned Aqua interface, and has the ability to detect and list all the different types of fonts recognized by OS X (including the new dfont format) in all of OS X< variety of Fonts folder. It even has a feature to override OS X's insistence on using the version of a font in /System/Libary/Fonts over the same font in another location. It also tracks corrupt fonts.

Spell Catcher Casady& Greene was not even showing a demo, but they had a sign stating that Spell Catcher for OS X was coming soon. How soon? They hope by Macworld Expo in July.

Wacom We also had a brief look at Wacom's LCD tablet, where you have a full touch-sensitive Mac screen visible right on the tablet itself. Cool. Now they just need to make it wireless.
