Macintosh Explorer 1.2.1 has been released. The update to this file browser utility fixes a bug that caused Type 3 errors, improves speed and has a few new features. Fixing invisibility overkill In regard to version 1.2, Steve Panzica wrote: "I was playing with the visible and invisible function. The program unexpectedly quit and I lost my System Folder! It turned out that this program made the System Folder and my entire hard drive invisible! Using a utility (Ghost Hunter) I was able to make everything visible again!" We contacted Rage Software about this, and they replied: "It seems that this person mistakenly made his hard drive invisible. When you make a file/folders invisible while using the tabs at the bottom of the Explorer window, it makes the file/folder that the path field (text field which displays the path of the selected file at the top of the Explorer window) is pointing to visible or invisible. The new version does not let you make your hard drive, the System Folder, or the Finder invisible."
