MacInTax problems

CNET staff
a. April 15th looms nearer. As if that is not stressful enough, MacInTax users now have to worry about a "glitch" in the software, as reported by the Associated Press: "Customers who filed their taxes electronically using MacInTax tax preparation software may have transmitted incomplete returns." A fixed version of MacInTax is available on Intuit's web site or by calling 1-800-750-9332.

b. Jeff Hecht reports of a subtle logic flaw in how MacInTax handles imports of previous year's data that contain multi-year depreciation items (the details are more involved than I can describe here). He claims Intuit has never addressed this issue.
