Several MacFixIt readers have already written in to report issues they have experienced with the recent update to Mac OS X Leopard, 10.5.8.Though the 10.5.8 update is only a couple days old, readers have already experienced some odd issues with their systems since updating. It is unclear if these issues are local or wider spread. If you have experienced any problem described here, or have solved any of them, let us know in the comments. As we describe in many of our articles about updates (especially OS updates) it is a good idea to check permissions and install using the Combo Update package. Be sure to take those basic troubleshooting steps.

"After installing the 10.5.8 update bluetooth references says: bluetooth "off". the box for checking "on" is greyed out. I use bluetooth for Mighty Mouse only, which is useless now.
