We are excited to announce a big change at MacFixIt happening next week. On Wednesday, September 2nd all articles will become available free-of-charge, allowing anyone to access the most timely, comprehensive and unbiased library of Mac-related repair and troubleshooting advice available online.

This is a major milestone in the history of MacFixIt. The change is a direct result of our acquisition by CNET and allows us to provide a broader range of coverage, in addition to drawing on a new pool of knowledge and resources. We will continue to provide timely and relevant reporting of Mac-related hardware and software issues and will be adding new features we're sure you'll enjoy and appreciate.

Please be sure to visit the site on September 2nd to subscribe to our new RSS feed or our daily newsletter. We hope you enjoy the new look of the blog!

Sincerely, Aaron Smith MacFixIt Product Manager
