MacFixIt adds Dan Frakes to editorial staff, Ted Landau to write new column

We're proud to announce two major additions to MacFixIt. First, Dan Frakes has been brought on board as Editor. A respected tech writer and Mac expert, Dan brings significant troubleshooting experience to the MacFixIt editorial staff. He is the author of the popular book Mac OS X Power Tools, and is in charge of troubleshooting content as an editor/author of the upcoming Macintosh Bible, 9th Edition. He has also contributed to the best-selling troubleshooting book for OS X, Mac OS X Disaster Relief, and its upcoming successor, and is a columnist for Macworld magazine. Dan's expertise adds signifcant depth to MacFixIt's coverage, and he will be working closely with Ben Wilson to provide the best possible coverage of all issues Mac. In addition to LateBreakers updates, Dan will also be writing feature articles and working on other special projects.

The second exciting change is that MacFixIt founder Ted Landau will be expanding his role to include a monthly editorial column, mac.column.ted, which will tackle a diverse range of current Mac issues. Ted is universally recognized as one of the foremost experts in Mac troubleshooting. In addition to founding MacFixIt, he has written numerous books on the topic, including the best-selling Mac OS X Disaster Relief, the upcoming Ted Landau's Mac OS X Help Desk, and the classic Sad Macs, Bombs and Other Disasters. Ted adds invaluable perspective to MacFixIt's coverage.
