New version of DAVE coming Yesterday we noted problems with DAVE, a PC networking tool, running under Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar). Randy Phillips, Director of Marketing at Thursby Software, has now told MacFixIt:

"We can not provide support for a product that hasn't been officially released yet, but rest assured, Thursby Software is working on a new version of DAVE which will support Jaguar. We should be announcing a public beta before the end of the month."

QuicKeys and Default Folder Alan Hattman reports a conflict between Default Folder and QuicKeys X under Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar):

"When trying to mount a remote volume with QuicKeys X under Jaguar with Default Folder 1.6 installed will cause QuicKeys to crash. Once Default Folder is turned off QuicKeys X functions as normal."

Cisco Aironet David Wolf reports yet another wireless networking debacle in Jaguar:

"Aironet Utility 2.1 doesn’t detect my Cisco Aironet 350 series card, and the card itself shows a solid amber 'Activity' light under Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar). It used to work fine under 10.1.5. Looks like I’m back to an ethernet umbilicus."
