Mac OS 8.1 and PPP Menu 2.0.3 conflict; expect an update soon

Several readers are reporting problems with PPP Menu 2.0.3 after updating to Mac OS 8.1. For example, J. Duff reports crashes when trying to connect with PPP if Virtual Memory is on or RAM Doubler is active. Disabling PPP Menu solved the problem. Chris Ralph had intermittent start up crashes that Conflict Catcher traced to PPP Menu (moving PPP Menu to later in the startup sequence seemed to help).

In any case, Rockstar states that an updated version, PPP Menu 2.5, is coming out next week. It i a "complete re-write" and should solve these problems.
