mac.com: server ups and downs: today's weather

Yesterday, we received numerous emails from people reporting that mac.com servers were down - and they were therefore unable to get their email. As of last night, the most common symptom reported was an "authentication failed" error.

As of this morning, the problem appears to be fixed. At least for the moment.
