For those who miss the raven-haired, blue-eyed actress Lynda Carter spin out of her military uniform and into her flashy costume of gold, red, blue and white on "Wonder Woman," you're in for a treat.

DC Entertainment announced at the "DC Digital: Download This" panel over the weekend at New York Comic Con that it will launch "Wonder Woman '77" -- a new digital comic series based on the popular '70s TV show starring Carter.

The digital comic will be written by Marc Andreyko, with covers from artist Nicola Scott. Additional artists working on the project have yet to be announced.

"Wonder Woman '77" will debut digitally with six weekly chapters in December 2014, which will then be published in two print issues to be released early in 2015. The series continues in the spring and will appear periodically throughout 2015.

In addition to "Wonder Woman '77," DC is also releasing two other digital comic series: "Mortal Kombat X" and "Fables: The Wolf."
