Blimey O'Reilly, Nokia's 41-megapixel Lumia 1020 smart phone isn't even official yet, but already we're glimpsing leaked snaps of accessories for the long-awaited mobile.

The picture above was spied by WMPoweruser and comes via Russian site izvestia, and appears to show an accessory for the camera-heavy mobile that's designed to make the phone feel more like a compact digital camera.

There's a plastic grip so it fits in your hand, while a shutter button is reportedly on board, too.

As if that wasn't enough, the hunk of tactical casing is said to have a built-in battery that could extend the lifespan of the Lumia 1020 -- which is apparently codenamed 'EOS' -- by about 35 per cent. Nifty.

There's no way of knowing whether this enticing accessory is real or not, but the Nokia logo is clearly visible on the casing itself, and it certainly chimes with previous leaked photos that show a huge circular snapper on the mobile's rear.

It's also not unusual for mobile makers to announce a new phone with a raft of accompanying accessories, designed to pry a few extra quid away from the pockets of eager shoppers. The Samsung Galaxy S4, for example, debuted with a slew of cases, charging pads, wristbands, a case for an extra battery and even a game pad.

The Lumia 1020, which an industry insider has confirmed to CNET will be coming to the UK, is expected to take the stage at Nokia's upcoming event on Thursday. That's not long to wait, folks.
